What You Need to Qualify as a Fordax Club Franchisee
Becoming a Fordax Public Speaking Club franchisee means you’re helping people in your community grow in confidence, communication, and leadership. But to succeed, we want to make sure you’re the right fit — and that we’re fully supporting your success.
Here’s what you’ll need to qualify:
1. Strong Public Speaking Skills
While we offer training and ongoing support to help you grow as a leader, communicator, and coach, it’s important to note that you must already be a confident and competent speaker before becoming a Fordax Club Franchisee. You should be ready to lead, inspire others, and set the standard for speaking excellence in your club.
2. Stable Presence in Your Area
You must have a confirmed and long-term presence in the location where you want to run the club. Ideally, you should be based in that region for the next 3–5 years. Running a club is a long term project. If you won’t be around 3 years from the date of application, you are not qualified.
3. A Suitable Club Venue
To qualify as a Fordax Public Speaking Club, you’ll need to secure a suitable physical location where your club will meet regularly.
We accept a variety of spaces such as:
- A school classroom
- A church or town hall
- An office training room or co-working space
- Any quiet, professional, and accessible venue
You’ll be asked to provide proof of arrangement, such as:
- Photos and videos of the venue
- A lease, rental agreement, or permission letter
- Or be open to an on-site inspection visit
Why this matters:
A great venue makes a big difference. It provides a welcoming, comfortable, and professional atmosphere that helps members feel confident, stay engaged, and keep coming back.
4. Ability to Pay the Franchise Fee
There is a non-refundable initial franchise fee.
This fee covers:
- Official license to use the Fordax brand and system
- Access to our training and curriculum
- Initial support to help you set up and grow
We’ll require financial proof (e.g., bank statements or written proof of sponsorship by an individual or a group) to confirm this.
5. Leadership & Team Management Skills
You must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage a team, and build a vibrant learning community. Previous or current leadership experiences will count.
6. Commitment to the Fordax System
We’ll train you to run your club the Fordax way — and you must be ready to follow:
- Our proven curriculum (The Tracks)
- Our brand guidelines and tools (like the Professional Speaker Scorecard)
- Our philosophy of “learning by doing”
This keeps all clubs consistent and high-quality across regions.
7. Passion for Personal Growth & Communication
Most importantly, you need a genuine passion for helping people grow through communication, confidence, and community.
If you meet these requirements and you’re passionate about building something meaningful in your city or town, then you’re exactly who we’re looking for. We’re not just building clubs. We’re building leaders, communicators, and change-makers.
